About this role

On-Call Registered Nurse (RN) – Flexible Scheduling

Weekdays. Weekends. 7 On / 7 Off. Let's find a schedule that works for you!

Looking for a nursing opportunity that offers flexibility, independence, and meaningful patient care?

The Care Team Hospice is seeking compassionate and experienced On-Call Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide after-hours and weekend support to hospice patients and families.

We understand that every nurse has different scheduling needs, which is why we're open to discussing weekday, weekend, and 7 On / 7 Off schedules. Whether you're looking for consistent overnight coverage, dedicated weekends, or a rotation that provides extended time off, we'd love to explore what works for you and our patients.

Unlike traditional RN Case Manager positions, our On-Call RNs aren't responsible for managing a full daytime caseload. Instead, you'll focus on responding to patient needs, managing symptoms, completing visits when necessary, and supporting patients and families during some of life's most important moments.

When you're not actively responding to patient needs in the field, you can remain at home while available for on-call responsibilities. You'll enjoy independence and autonomy with the support of an experienced clinical team.

Flexible Scheduling Options

We're currently exploring several scheduling arrangements, including:

- Weekday On-Call: Monday–Thursday, 4:30 PM – 8:00 AM the following morning

- Weekend On-Call: Friday 4:30 PM – Monday 8:00 AM

- 7 On / 7 Off: Rotating on-call coverage with seven consecutive days off between rotations

- Other Arrangements: Have a schedule in mind? Let's discuss!

Don't let the schedule stop you from applying. We're open to a conversation about your availability and how it may align with our coverage needs.
