Program Manager, Value Optimization (S2P)
Draft job description for review. S2P Reimagined Transformation Office.
Role summary
Owns the business value layer of the S2P Reimagined program, the initiative that pushes the boundary of how Global Procurement designs and runs its future processes. Serves as the business owner and single point of contact who translates S2P priorities into a prioritized, measured set of initiatives, and operationalizes process intelligence as a strategic layer across S2P. Process intelligence is enabled today by the P2P Celonis instance and expands across S2P as the capability matures. This is a business value and program leadership role. The role owns the requirements, KPIs, initiative pipeline, and value; the DTAI platform team owns the technical build and administration.
Responsibilities
- Own the business value layer of S2P Reimagined. Act as the business owner who operationalizes process intelligence as a strategic layer across the program, enabled today by the P2P Celonis instance and expanding across S2P.
- Drive all Towers toward the S2P North Star. Set targets, deliver actionable insight into prioritized initiatives, and govern the initiative pipeline, while the Towers own executing their initiatives.
- Turn insight into executable, measured initiatives. Convert process intelligence into scoped initiatives that are actively tracked against the North Star.
- Own the North Star KPI framework. Own the S2P North Star KPIs, baselines, and cost per transaction methodology as the single source of truth, signed off with finance and S2P leadership, and reconcile process intelligence outputs with finance and operational reporting so the program runs from one set of numbers.
- Maintain an integrated, real time metric view. Provide a live view of program metrics that leadership and the Towers work from.
- Serve as the single point of contact for the Towers. Intake, qualify, and prioritize process intelligence demand from Towers and business owners, and convert approved demand into scoped projects with defined deliverables and success criteria.
- Represent S2P to the technical team. Translate S2P priorities and requirements into platform improvements in partnership with DTAI, resolving data discrepancies and validating metrics such as touchless rate. Today this runs through the P2P Celonis instance and extends across S2P as the capability grows.
- Proactively surface new opportunities. Identify new initiatives and opportunities to explore as part of the program.
How this role works with the platform team
The Value Optimization PM is the business owner of process intelligence: the requirements, the KPIs, the initiative pipeline, and the value realized. The DTAI platform team owns the platform, data readiness, and technical build. This role sets what the process intelligence must answer and what the business acts on; it does not administer the tool. Celonis is the current enabling platform, not the scope of the role.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, engineering, finance, or a related field; advanced degree a plus.
- 7 or more years in procurement, source to pay, finance, or process transformation, including program or portfolio management of cross functional initiatives.
- Experience owning KPI frameworks, baselining, and cost or value methodology, with the ability to reconcile operational data against finance.
- Working knowledge of process mining and analytics (Celonis a plus) and of S2P systems such as SAP and Ariba, with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Proven ability to influence and govern across teams and to drive initiatives to measured value without direct authority over delivery teams.
- Experience communicating at the executive and steering committee level across a global organization.
- Familiarity with AI and agentic automation concepts and their operational and cost implications a plus.
