💚 What Youll Do
- Provide compassionate nursing care to patients in a correctional healthcare setting.
- Administer medications and treatments according to provider orders and established protocols.
- Conduct nursing assessments and monitor patients for changes in health status.
- Respond to medical concerns and communicate changes in patient conditions to the appropriate healthcare personnel.
- Maintain accurate, timely medical documentation.
- Collaborate with healthcare colleagues and correctional staff to promote patient safety and continuity of care.
- Deliver professional, respectful care while protecting patient confidentiality and dignity.
Qualifications
✅ Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted nursing license appropriate to the position in Georgia, or a compact license valid for practice in Georgia, as applicable.
- Current CPR certification or the ability to obtain it as required.
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and assessment skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with the healthcare team.
- Commitment to professional ethics, patient confidentiality, and quality patient care.
- Availability to work 12-hour night shifts from 5:45 PM to 6:15 AM on a rotating schedule, including every other weekend.
Correctional healthcare experience is welcome, but a commitment to compassionate care and professional excellence is what matters most!
