💚 What Youll Do
- Provide compassionate nursing care to patients in a correctional healthcare environment.
- Administer medications and treatments according to provider orders and established protocols.
- Monitor patient conditions, recognize changes in health status, and communicate concerns to the appropriate medical personnel.
- Complete nursing assessments, documentation, and other required medical records accurately.
- Collaborate with healthcare colleagues and correctional staff to support patient safety and continuity of care.
- Help ensure patients receive timely, appropriate care while maintaining professional nursing standards.
Qualifications
✅ Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Georgia or a compact license valid for practice in Georgia, as applicable.
- Current CPR certification or the ability to obtain it as required.
- Strong assessment, communication, and clinical judgment skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the healthcare team.
- Commitment to professional ethics, patient confidentiality, and compassionate care.
- Ability to work a 12-hour day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM on a rotating schedule that includes every other weekend.
Correctional healthcare experience is welcome, but your nursing skills, professionalism, and willingness to make a difference are what matter most!
