Process Safety Management Engineer I

Job Description:

- Perform the Implementation of PSM practices at the plant site accordance with OSHA / CCPS as general reference.

- Check PSM activities operate in accordance with company standards and regulatory requirements.

- Conduct routine monitoring and follow-up on PSM execution in all units.

- Develop, review, and update PSM systems, guidelines, and procedures for all PSM elements.

- Establish process safety accident criteria and ensure consistent implementation.

- Identify process safety risks and define appropriate mitigation measures.

- Facilitate and conduct risk assessments and consequence modelling.

- Validate recommendations and ensure alignment with plant safety priorities.

- Identify key process safety risks and propose mitigation strategies.

- Support evaluation of plant modifications from a process safety perspective.

- Perform audits on PSM systems and ensure corrective actions are completed.

- Monitor compliance with internal standards and safety requirements.

- Support continuous improvement of process safety performance.

- Perform PSM training programs for personnel.

- Prepare and update PSM-related documentation, reporting, and performance records.

- Conduct updated data related to risk assessment, PSM procedures, and plant safety evaluations.

Job Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or relevant major

- Have min. 5 years of working experience in Petrochemical/chemical plant, power plant, or refinary.

- Preferrably have certification in PSM Training, Process Hazard Analysis, HAZOP Leader, QRA & FERA, SIL Verification, and accident investigation

- Have good English communication skill both writing and speaking.

- Good interpersonal skills.
