📍 Location: University of Michigan–Dearborn
💰 Pay: $19–$21 per hour
📅 Schedule: Monday–Friday
⏰ Hours: 6:30 AM–3:00 PM (hours may vary)
Picasso Restaurant Group is looking for an experienced, dependable, and motivated Deli Lead to join our team at McKinley Café, located on the University of Michigan–Dearborn campus!
We are seeking someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced café environment, takes pride in food quality and presentation, and can help lead daily deli operations while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily deli operations and ensure smooth service.
- Prepare fresh sandwiches, wraps, salads, and other deli items.
- Maintain high standards for food quality, freshness, and presentation.
- Assist with food preparation, stocking, and inventory.
- Ensure proper food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards.
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service.
- Help train, support, and motivate team members.
- Assist management with daily operations as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous deli, café, or food service experience required.
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Dependable, punctual, and a positive team player.
