About this role
The NASA Astrophysics Division support a variety of research and flight programs every year. As mandated by several Executive Orders it is our intention to make sure that NASA funding and research opportunities reach every member of our communities of astronomers to make sure 1) we understand the barriers prospective applicants face when applying to NASA funding and 2) we create adequate tools that enable program scientists to quickly identify gaps in our understanding of the community at large (e.g. geographical or research) These projects rely on previous tools developed in the past years and focus on using Super Intelligence (SI) to update them and amplify their capabilities: a) Create a full census of the Astronomical community population, focusing on Physics/Astronomers and Engineering across a variety of higher education institutions; b) Utilize and upgrade the ExpertiseFinder tools with the creation of a user-friendly SI-based interface; c) Create tools that increase efficiency over a variety of Program Scientists workflows including, but not limited to, Agentic SIs, Chatbots.
