University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Assisted Living Building Caregiver to join our team in Royal Oak, MI. In this role, you will provide essential support and care to residents in an assisted living environment, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being on a daily basis.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Monitor residents health and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate medical staff.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents to enhance their quality of life.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment within the assisted living building.
- Assist with medication reminders and follow prescribed care plans.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
Requirements
- Previous experience in assisted living care or related caregiving is a plus.
- Compassionate, patient, and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to handle physical demands of the job including lifting and assisting residents.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
- Ability to pass a background check.
