Sr Engineer - (Flexible Pipelines and Umbilicals)

Short Description

The Senior Installation & Project Engineer is responsible for delivering installation engineering activities related to flexible pipelines and umbilicals, ensuring safe and efficient project execution in compliance with company standards, client requirements and industry regulations.

The role requires close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, project stakeholders, offshore personnel and clients throughout all project phases, from tendering to execution and project closeout.

What will you be doing?

• Perform installation engineering activities for offshore projects involving flexibles and umbilicals.
• Develop, review and approve engineering deliverables, procedures, calculations and technical reports.
• Support project execution plans, schedules and resource requirements.
• Participate in risk assessments and contribute to risk mitigation strategies.
• Interface with clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders on technical matters.
• Support offshore operations, vessel mobilizations and installation campaigns when required.
• Ensure engineering solutions are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with project objectives.
• Contribute to lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Promote compliance with Subsea7 HSEQ policies, procedures and values.

What experience would we like you to have?

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Valid CREA registration.
• Significant experience in offshore installation engineering within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Experience with flexible pipelines and umbilical installation projects.
• Strong understanding of offshore operations and installation methodologies.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Good communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a multicultural environment.

Desirable

• Experience supporting offshore campaigns and vessel operations.
• Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies.
• Experience with project engineering activities.
• Knowledge of industry standards and recommended practices.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Office-based position with occasional offshore assignments as required.
