FINANCE MANAGER (TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS)

Location: Taguig, Philippines

Work Setup: Onsite

Compensation Flexibility: Open to negotiation for highly qualified candidates.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Oversee day-to-day finance and accounting operations , including month-end and year-end closing, financial reporting, general ledger, accounts payable, payroll, reconciliations, and other accounting activities, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.

- Manage tax, statutory, and regulatory compliance for Philippine operations, including coordination with government agencies, tax filings, regulatory reporting, business permits, and internal and external audits.

- Oversee treasury and financial planning activities , including cash flow management, banking transactions, foreign currency requirements, budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring of the company's financial resources.

- Maintain strong financial controls and improve finance processes by ensuring compliance with company policies, strengthening internal controls, identifying operational gaps, and implementing process improvements and automation where appropriate.

- Lead and develop the Finance Team while partnering with senior management and key stakeholders to provide financial insights, support business initiatives, and contribute to sound financial and strategic decision-making.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field .

- At least 10 years of relevant Accounting and Finance experience , including 5 years in a leadership or management role .

- Strong experience in Philippine tax and regulatory compliance , including BIR and PEZA requirements.

- Proven experience in month-end and year-end closing, financial reporting, and statutory and external audits .

- Hands-on experience in General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), payroll, reconciliations, and cash management .

- Experience working in a multinational, shared services, or global organization .

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred but not required.

- Previous experience in the BPO or shared services industry .

- Experience overseeing multiple finance and accounting functions within a multinational or global business environment.

- Exposure to financial process improvements, automation, and internal control enhancements.

- Experience collaborating with regional or global finance teams and senior management.

REQUIRED SKILLS & TECHNOLOGIES

- Financial Accounting & Reporting: Strong knowledge of financial statement preparation, general ledger management, reconciliations, and month-end and year-end closing processes.

- Philippine Tax & Regulatory Compliance: In-depth understanding of BIR, PEZA, statutory reporting, and applicable Philippine accounting and regulatory requirements.

- Treasury & Financial Planning: Proficiency in cash flow management, banking transactions, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

- ERP & Accounting Systems: Experience using accounting software or ERP platforms for financial reporting, transaction processing, and financial management.
