Transformation & Project Management (Senior) Consultant | Business & Technology | Bulgaria

We are looking for an experienced transformation and project management professional to join our Business & Technology Transformation team at Deloitte. You combine structured project delivery with a practical, curious mindset and enjoy helping organizations navigate complex change.
Requirements:
- 3-6 years of relevant experience in transformation, project or program management, change management, operational excellence, GBS/Shared Services or management consulting within an international environment.
- Hands-on experience leading projects, workstreams or transformation initiatives involving multiple functions, stakeholder groups or geographies.
- Strong project management skills across planning, governance, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, decision management and executive reporting.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills , including confidence working directly with senior executives and functional leaders.
- The ability to facilitate meetings and workshops, align different perspectives and turn discussions into clear decisions and actions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex information into concise, executive-ready presentations and recommendations.
- A proactive, adaptable approach, taking ownership and bringing structure to ambiguous or evolving situations.
- Curiosity about AI, automation and emerging technologies , including a willingness to use generative AI tools to improve analysis, project delivery and everyday productivity while applying professional judgment and quality control.
- Strong command of PowerPoint and Excel.
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Business Informatics, Engineering, Technology or a related discipline.
- Fluent English and Bulgarian.
- EU citizenship or a valid work permit to work in Bulgaria is required.

It would be an advantage if you also have:
- Experience in GBS/Shared Services, Pharma, Energy or another complex international organization.
- German at professional working proficiency.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, MS Project or similar project and collaboration tools.
- PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum, Lean Six Sigma or comparable qualifications.
You enjoy learning about new businesses and industries, moving between different challenges and contributing beyond project coordination by understanding problems, challenging approaches and helping shape practical solutions.
As a Transformation & Project Management (Senior) Consultant , you will help clients turn transformation ambitions into structured initiatives and successfully move them from planning to implementation.
Your assignments may include international transformation programs, GBS operating model development, process improvement and technology-enabled change.
Depending on the engagement, you will:
- Drive projects and transformation workstreams from mobilization through implementation, establishing clarity around objectives, scope, milestones, responsibilities and outcomes
- Establish and manage effective program governance, including steering committees, status reporting, RAID management, dependencies, decisions and escalation mechanisms
- Work directly with senior executives and functional leaders, helping align priorities, resolve issues and move decisions forward
- Coordinate cross-functional and international teams across business, operations, technology and external partners
- Translate strategic objectives into practical roadmaps, workplans and implementation actions
- Identify risks, bottlenecks and interdependencies early and work with stakeholders to find pragmatic solutions
- Prepare and facilitate executive meetings, workshops and steering committees, ensuring clear outcomes and follow-through
- Support transformation initiatives covering areas such as operating model redesign, process improvement, GBS/Shared Services, digital transformation and technology-enabled change
- Develop high-quality executive presentations, analyses, business cases, recommendations and decision materials
- Quickly understand unfamiliar businesses and processes so that you can contribute beyond pure project coordination
- Explore how AI, automation and emerging technologies could improve project delivery, business processes and ways of working
- Use AI tools intelligently in your own work to accelerate analysis, synthesize information, challenge thinking, develop content and reduce repetitive activities, while maintaining professional judgment and appropriate quality control
