D-6 Bulldozer Operator – Railroad Project
Location: Rochester, NY
Duration: Approximately 6 weeks
Skilled Trades Partners is looking for an experienced D-6 Bulldozer Operator for a railroad construction project in Rochester, NY. This is a great opportunity for an experienced operator looking for steady work on an active job site, with approximately 6 weeks remaining.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a D-6 bulldozer on an active railroad construction site.
- Perform grading, leveling, backfilling, and earthmoving.
- Follow site plans, grade specifications, and supervisor instructions.
- Complete daily equipment inspections and report maintenance issues.
- Maintain a safe work environment while working around other trades and equipment.
- Follow all railroad site safety requirements and project procedures.
Requirements:
- Proven experience operating a D-6 bulldozer.
- Experience with construction, earthmoving, and grading.
- Ability to work safely on an active job site.
- Reliable transportation and ability to report to work as scheduled.
- Must have appropriate work boots and required PPE.
- Railroad site experience is a plus.
