About this role
Zensar Technologies Limited is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to lead API test automation initiatives within our null department. The role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining C#‑based automation frameworks, integrating them into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring high‑quality releases through comprehensive functional and performance testing.
- Develop automated test scenarios for new API endpoints and services.
- Enhance and maintain existing automation frameworks and build new capabilities where required.
- Define and implement test automation strategies to improve quality and coverage.
- Design, execute, and monitor API automation suites as part of CI/CD pipelines.
- Create and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines for automated testing.
- Perform database validation and backend testing using EF based test automation scenarios within API solutions.
- Develop and execute API performance tests using JMeter.
- Work closely with developers and product teams to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
- Mentor team members and promote automation best practices
