Preconstruction Manager

Overview We are seeking a Preconstruction Manager to lead estimating and budgeting efforts for commercial construction projects from concept through project turnover. Responsibilities

- Prepare conceptual, schematic, and detailed project estimates.
- Develop and maintain project budgets throughout design.
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricing.
- Perform quantity takeoffs, bid leveling, and cost analysis.
- Identify value engineering opportunities and project risks.
- Collaborate with owners, architects, consultants, and operations teams.
- Support project pursuits, proposals, and preconstruction activities.

Qualifications

- 5+ years of commercial construction estimating or preconstruction experience.
- Strong experience with budgeting, estimating, and quantity takeoffs.
- Ability to review drawings, specifications, and project documents.
- Knowledge of construction means, methods, and costs.
- Proficiency with Bluebeam and estimating software.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with CMAR and Design-Build delivery methods.
- Healthcare construction experience.
- Familiarity with Procore and BuildingConnected.
- Established relationships within the DFW subcontractor market.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field.

Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Dallas, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $115000.00 - $145000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. -Competitive compensation package
