Preconstruction Manager

Job Summary
Seeking a Preconstruction Manager to lead estimating and preconstruction efforts for commercial construction projects. This individual will be responsible for developing budgets, preparing estimates, coordinating with subcontractors, and supporting project pursuits from early planning through project turnover.

Responsibilities
-Prepare conceptual, schematic, and detailed construction estimates.
-Develop and maintain project budgets throughout design.
-Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricing.
-Perform scope reviews, bid leveling, and cost analysis.
-Identify value engineering opportunities and project risks.
-Collaborate with owners, architects, consultants, and operations teams.
-Support proposal development and project pursuits.

Qualifications
-5+ years of commercial construction estimating or preconstruction experience.
-Experience developing budgets and estimates for commercial projects.
-Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and costs.
-Ability to review drawings, specifications, and project documents.
-Excellent communication and organizational skills.
-Proficiency with estimating software and Bluebeam.

Preferred
-Experience with CMAR and Design-Build delivery methods.
-Existing relationships within the DFW subcontractor market.
-Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $115000.00 - $145000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. -Competitive compensation package
