The Practice Growth Specialist (PGS) is a customer-facing commercial role responsible for partnering with Territory Managers and strategic dental practices to identify, develop, and execute sustainable practice-growth initiatives. The PGS brings consultative business expertise into high-potential and strategic accounts to help customers grow implant treatment, improve practice efficiency, strengthen patient conversion, expand digital workflows, and maximize the value of their partnership with Neodent and Straumann Group.

The PGS works alongside the Territory Manager, who maintains ownership of the customer relationship. The role adds a deeper layer of practice-development expertise and connects customers with the people, education, technology, and resources needed to turn growth opportunities into measurable action.

Responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

Practice Growth & Business Development

• Conduct structured practice assessments to identify growth opportunities, operational challenges, and barriers to increased implant treatment.

• Partner with practice owners and teams to develop customized growth plans with clear objectives, priorities, actions, and follow-up.

• Help practices identify opportunities to increase implant case volume, patient acceptance, referrals, and overall practice revenue.

• Provide ongoing follow-up and accountability to support execution of agreed-upon growth initiatives.

• Identify opportunities to expand utilization of Neodent and Straumann Group solutions when aligned with the practice's growth objectives.

Practice Efficiency & Workflow Optimization

• Evaluate current implant and patient workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and the overall patient experience.

• Help practices address bottlenecks that may limit growth, including scheduling, treatment coordination, patient conversion, staffing, and workflow efficiency.

• Connect customers with appropriate internal and external resources, tools, education, and solutions to address identified needs.

• Support implementation of new workflows and processes across the practice team.

Digital & Technology Adoption

• Help practices understand how digital technology can improve efficiency, treatment workflows, patient experience, and practice growth.

• Partner with Digital Solutions Specialists and other internal resources to support appropriate digital adoption and implementation.

• Integrate digital solutions into broader practice-growth strategies rather than positioning technology as a standalone product.

Education & Team Development

• Identify education and training opportunities that support the practice's clinical and business growth objectives.

• Help practices develop clinical and administrative teams to better support implant treatment and patient conversion.

• Connect customers with Neodent/Straumann educational programs, clinical resources, and relevant practice-growth resources.

• Support practice teams as they implement new processes, workflows, and growth initiatives.

Strategic Account Growth & Retention

• Partner with Territory Managers to identify strategic, high-potential, underpenetrated, or at-risk accounts where practice-growth support can create meaningful impact.

• Develop deeper customer relationships by positioning Neodent and Straumann Group as long-term practice-growth partners.

• Proactively identify customer challenges and opportunities that can strengthen retention and expand the partnership.

• Support structured growth strategies across implants, digital solutions, biomaterials, education, and other relevant Straumann Group offerings.

Cross-Functional Partnership

• Collaborate closely with Territory Managers, Regional Sales Directors, Digital Solutions Specialists, Education, Marketing, and other Straumann Group partners.

• Maintain clear communication with the Territory Manager throughout assessment, planning, implementation, and follow-up.

• Coordinate the right internal resources around the customer while preserving clear account ownership and a seamless customer experience.

• Share repeatable practice-growth approaches and field learnings that can strengthen customer support across the organization.

Key Measures of Success

• Growth within supported practices and increased implant case volume.

• Improved customer retention and reduced account erosion within supported accounts.

• Expansion of relevant Neodent and Straumann Group solutions within existing customers.

• Successful execution and completion of customer practice-growth plans.

• Increased adoption of digital workflows, education, and practice-development resources where appropriate.

• Demonstrated incremental revenue and deeper customer engagement within supported accounts.

• Strong partnership and collaboration with Territory Managers and cross-functional field teams.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Ability to assess customer needs and develop actionable plans aligned with identified business objectives
- Demonstrated presentation, facilitation, relationship management, and verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple customer initiatives, prioritize activities, and track follow-through in a field-based environment

- Ability and willingness to travel regularly within the assigned territory, consistent with business requirements
