About this role

Supply Chain Officer (UK & Ireland)

The Role

Logistics is the backbone of our operations. We are looking for a Supply Chain Officer to take full ownership of stock management and logistical processes across the UK and Ireland. Your goal is simple: ensure the right stock levels are maintained, international deliveries arrive on time, and every process meets regulatory standards. If you are a detail-oriented professional who enjoys optimizing workflows and managing end-to-end supply chains, this is the role for you.

Mission

As a Supply Chain Officer, you will manage all aspects of our logistical processes to ensure optimal local stock levels are maintained at all times. Operating with a continuous improvement philosophy, you will ensure full compliance with all industry regulations. You will coordinate closely with local and global colleagues to provide accurate forecasts and manage timely deliveries, including all necessary import and export processes.

- SAP Management: Perform continuous stock reconciliation between SAP and our 4PL partners.

- Documentation: Manage, validate, check, and store all documentation related to each delivery.

- Liaison: Coordinate with HQ colleagues on stock availability and delivery schedules, and manage any urgent delivery requirements.

- Regulatory Coordination: Partner with Regulatory Affairs to ensure product changes (packaging, leaflets, etc.) are planned and monitored to prevent stock write-offs or shortages.

Reporting & Analysis

- Insights: Produce clear management reports, dashboards, and variance analyses on stock to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

- Forecasting: Ensure all internal reporting is completed accurately and on time, including stock coverage and rolling forecasts as required by local management and HQ.

Import / Export

- Process Flow: Maintain and follow procedures for the smooth import and export of products, ensuring all relevant documentation is retained.

- Compliance: Keep up to date with relevant legislation to ensure changes are managed promptly and product flow remains uninterrupted.

- Customs: Coordinate with 3rd party customs clearance companies as required.

Distribution Partners & Quality (GDP)

- Partner Lead: Act as the primary contact for 3rd party logistics providers, monitoring their performance and resolving ad-hoc situations.

- GDP Compliance: Maintain full training on Good Distribution Practice (GDP) and work closely with the Responsible Person (RP) on all GDP matters.

- Investigations: Liaise with local teams, HQ, and third parties to investigate potential deviations or derogations from local regulations.

Procedures & Internal Controls

- Documentation: Ensure all processes are adequately documented and internal controls are strictly adhered to.

- Continuous Improvement: Regularly review and challenge internal controls to ensure they remain robust. Use KPIs to identify inefficiencies and implement action plans to optimize operations.

Candidate Profile

- Technical Skills: Experience with SAP and strong proficiency in data analysis/reporting.

- Knowledge: Solid understanding of GDP requirements and Import/Export processes.

- Competencies: Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to collaborate across international teams.

- Mindset: A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement.
