Role Overview:

As Compensation, Rewards and Performance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving the total rewards and performance strategy for Allianz Services Mauritius. You will lead the design and restructuring of compensation frameworks, ensuring market competitiveness through regular salary benchmarking and market surveys, while maintaining internal equity through robust job evaluation and grading methodologies.

Your expertise in performance management cycle design and administration — including goal setting, calibration, performance ratings and merit review processes — will directly influence employee engagement, retention, and organisational effectiveness. You will leverage HRIS and compensation platforms (SuccessFactors), advanced AI and Microsoft Excel modelling, and strong data analytics and reporting capabilities (PowerBI) to deliver insights that inform leadership decisions.

You will champion confidentiality, data integrity and regulatory compliance across every aspect of the compensation and rewards function.

What You Do:

- Design, implement and continuously improve compensation and benefits structures across multiple departments, conducting salary benchmarking and market surveys to ensure competitive positioning and effective vendor and consultant management with external survey providers and benefits brokers
- Manage the annual compensation review cycle, including merit increases, bonus calculations, incentive plan administration and equity adjustments (ESPP), ensuring alignment with budget parameters and business performance through detailed data analytics and reporting
- Lead the end-to-end performance management process, coordinating goal setting, mid-year reviews, annual appraisals and calibration sessions with senior leadership and HR Business Partners, driving consistency and fairness across the organisation
- Develop and maintain job architecture frameworks, including job evaluation, grading and levelling, ensuring roles are accurately mapped and aligned with market data and internal equity principles
- Administer employee benefits programmes — including health insurance, pension, wellness and recognition schemes — managing enrolments, renewals, cost analysis and employee query resolution to ensure a seamless employee experience
- Prepare compensation and rewards reporting, dashboards and analytics for leadership, including cost modelling, pay equity analysis, attrition-linked compensation insights and audit support documentation, maintaining robust internal controls and governance
- Partner with Business, Finance and Legal stakeholders to ensure all compensation and rewards practices comply with local labour laws, tax regulations and statutory requirements across all operating jurisdictions, and act as an escalation point for complex or sensitive compensation matters

What You Bring:

- 10+ years of experience spanning compensation and benefits design, rewards strategy, performance management and HR analytics
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Finance, or a related field; postgraduate qualifications and/or professional certifications in Compensation, Rewards, or Total Rewards Management are advantageous
- Proven track record in managing complex compensation programmes, market benchmarking, job evaluation and annual review cycles within a shared services or multinational environment
- Experienced in performance management frameworks, calibration processes, incentive plan design, pay equity analysis and HR governance
- Articulates ideas with clarity and impact, both in writing and verbally. Skilled at crafting and delivering compelling narratives — whether prepared or improvised — that engage audiences and drive buy-in
- Maintains exacting standards of accuracy, consistency and documentation discipline — ensuring every process, decision and output is clearly recorded and audit-ready. Excels at prioritising workloads, managing multiple deadlines simultaneously, and maintaining structured, well-organised ways of working under pressure.
- Prior experience in a compensation and rewards leadership role within a global organisation or consulting firm is highly desirable
