Position Summary
Aerosoles Footwear is seeking a detail-oriented, process-driven User Systems Support Analyst to join our New York operations team. In this role, you will be the central operational anchor responsible for bridging the gap between our supply chain, production, sales channels (D2C, wholesale, dropship), and our core ERP system, Infor M3.
You will troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day operational bottlenecks, audit master data integrity, and enforce cross-functional standard operating procedures (SOPs). The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of footwear/apparel supply chains, inventory accounting, dropship/EDI integrations, and hands-on functional experience in Infor M3.
Key Responsibilities
Master Data Governance & System Integrity
- Oversee and audit critical master data setups in Infor M3, including Fineline/subclass configurations, HTS codes, NRF code uploads, and vendor duty/freight parameter tables.
- Prevent purchase order (PO) failures and calculation errors by ensuring new products and vendors are correctly set up prior to transactional execution.
- Collaborate with production and finance teams to ensure accuracy in inventory valuation, landed cost calculations, and UPC mapping for major accounts (e.g., Macy's, DSW, Amazon).
Cross-Functional Process Enforcement & Training
- Act as the primary operational escalation point to resolve process vs. system ambiguities across D2C, wholesale, and dropship channels.
- Develop, document, and train internal teams on clear operational workflows—eliminating recurring errors regarding dropship flags, intercompany transactions, and warehouse routing.
- Partner with production and sales teams ahead of new channel launches (e.g., Walmart Vendor Fulfillment, partner dropship programs like Allbirds/AXNY) to ensure operational readiness before go-live.
Operational Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution
- Investigate and remediate inventory discrepancies (e.g., 846 inventory error reports, incorrect dropship style flags).
- Diagnose whether supply chain friction stems from a system glitch or a procedural user error, correcting the root cause rather than just treating symptoms.
- Reduce ad-hoc escalations to senior leadership by serving as the first line of defense for operational questions.
Business Process and Systems Support
- Develop a strong understanding of core business processes and how they are executed in Infor M3.
- Work closely with business users to understand operational requirements and resolve process-related issues.
- Identify gaps in user knowledge, system configuration, or established procedures that contribute to recurring problems.
- Collaborate with IT, functional teams, and business stakeholders to improve system reliability and user experience.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in supply chain operations, ERP data management, or inventory control—preferably within the footwear, apparel, or consumer goods industry.
- System Knowledge: Hands-on experience with an ERP System such as Infor M3, A2000, SAP, etc is strongly preferred (understanding of item master setup, purchasing, inventory management, and order management modules).
- Technical Literacy: Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUPs, data cleaning, pivot tables) and familiarity with EDI or dropship/marketplace integrations.
- Process Mindset: Exceptional ability to translate complex business rules and intercompany logistics into clear, repeatable step-by-step processes for non-technical teams.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal and training skills with the patience and firmness required to enforce compliance across multiple departments.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Research, or a related field.
Salary: The anticipated base salary is $70k-$90k annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, internal equity, and location.
