Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and assertive 3PL Operations Coordinator to serve as the primary on-site liaison between our New York headquarters and our third-party logistics (3PL) warehouse in Perris, California.
This individual will represent the priorities and operational needs of the New York office and help ensure customer orders, special projects, and daily warehouse activities are completed accurately and on time.
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who takes ownership, follows up persistently, and is comfortable driving results through teams that do not report directly to him/her.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison between the New York office and the Perris 3PL warehouse.
- Communicate and monitor daily priorities, shipping requirements, deadlines, and special instructions.
- Monitor open orders and projects, follow up on progress, and report status and potential delays to headquarters.
- Monitor and communicate routing deadlines, shipping appointments, and customer-specific ticketing, labeling, packing, and documentation requirements.
- Gather and communicate required shipping information, including packing lists, BOLs, tracking details, and shipment confirmations as necessary.
- Ensure the warehouse has the information and instructions needed to ship customer orders correctly and on time.
- Answer warehouse questions and provide information from internal systems that warehouse personnel may not have access to.
- Troubleshoot operational issues in real time and coordinate with internal departments and the 3PL team to resolve problems quickly.
- Maintain organized tracking of priorities, deadlines, open issues, and follow-up items.
- Build strong working relationships with warehouse management and personnel while ensuring company priorities are executed.

Qualifications

- Confident and assertive, with the ability to take ownership and drive tasks to completion.
- Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with teams that do not report directly to the position.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable working independently while coordinating closely with a remote headquarters team.
- Ability to learn internal systems including Infor M3 and Deposco .
- 3+ years of experience in logistics, distribution, order fulfillment, supply chain, retail operations, or a 3PL environment is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
- High school diploma.

This person should be comfortable asking questions, following up when necessary, identifying potential problems early, and pushing for action when deadlines are approaching—while maintaining productive relationships with both the warehouse team and our New York office.
Salary: The anticipated base compensation is $24-$26 and hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, internal equity, and location.
