About this role
Position Summary:
The Community Resource Specialist 2 (CRS2) plays a central role in advancing the goals of the Career Mobility Action Plan (Career MAP) , an innovative workforce development initiative launched by the DC Department of Human Services (DHS). This position is responsible for developing and maintaining a strong network of landlords, housing providers, financial coaches, and community-based partners that can support families in achieving housing stability, economic mobility, and long-term self-sufficiency. As well as the responsibility for the robust data reporting to DHS.
Working primarily with families, the CRS2 coordinates critical housing activities, including housing searches, property tours, relocation requests, rent reasonableness reviews, inspections, lease-up documentation, and permanent supportive housing eligibility processes.
