We are hiring for a Warehouse Associate on behalf of our client, a leading provider of electrical power monitoring hardware and software solutions. This role supports growing inventory and order fulfillment operations within a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Location: Ashburn, VA
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM
Salary: $24.00 - $26.00/Hour
Responsibilities Receive incoming materials, verify shipment quantities and condition against documentation, and pick, pack, stage, and ship customer orders accurately within required timelines. Perform material movements and enter transaction records into SAP, conduct cycle counts, assist with physical inventory reconciliations, and follow established FIFO, storage, and labeling procedures. Coordinate routine shipments, freight preparation, and documentation matters with freight carriers, forwarders, customs brokers, and third-party logistics partners. Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, electric stackers, and barcode scanners while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment. Inspect materials for damages or discrepancies, proactively report issues to internal service teams, and assist with periodic physical inventory counts as needed.
Qualifications and Key Skills High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, material handling, shipping documentation, and inventory management. Proficiency with basic computer systems and digital recordkeeping; experience with SAP or similar ERP/inventory management systems is preferred. Demonstrated ability to safely operate material handling equipment (pallet jacks, stackers, scanners); forklift experience/certification and OSHA 10 certification are highly preferred. Knowledge of international shipping, customs documentation, and import/export processes is a plus. Strong attention to detail, proactive communication skills in English, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively. Comfort climbing ladders/step stools and working at heights. Physical ability to regularly lift/carry up to 50 lbs (and up to 75 lbs with assistance), stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive movement in varying warehouse temperatures.
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $24.00 - $26.00 Per Hour
