Shift: Monday – Friday 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Location: Gaithersburg, MD 20878

About HHHS
Helpful Hearts Health Services (HHHS) is seeking compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in residential services.
Job Responsibilities
• Provide overnight supervision and support to individuals receiving services.
• Remain awake, alert, and attentive throughout the entire shift.
• Ensure the safety, health, and well-being of individuals supported.
• Assist with personal care and other support needs as outlined in individual service plans.
• Monitor individuals and respond promptly to emergencies or changes in conditions.
• Complete accurate overnight documentation and shift reports.
• Follow medication-related procedures, individual care plans, and HHHS policies.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment.
• Communicate important updates to incoming staff and supervisors.
Required Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Ability to pass criminal background checks and reference verification
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift, reposition, and assist clients as needed
• Strong communication skills and a caring, professional demeanor
Physical & Emotional Requirements
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods
• Ability to manage challenging behaviors calmly and professionally
