Qualifications

💙 What You'll Do as a CNA at Big Bend Hospice

As a valued member of our care team, you'll provide compassionate, hands-on support to patients while helping maintain their comfort, dignity, and quality of life.

✅ Assist with personal care, bathing, grooming, dressing, feeding, and mobility
✅ Monitor and report changes in patient condition to licensed nursing staff
✅ Obtain and document vital signs accurately
✅ Support patients with elimination and daily living activities
✅ Follow infection control and patient safety protocols
✅ Educate and support patients and caregivers with comfort-focused care needs
✅ Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with the care team
✅ Demonstrate professionalism, compassion, and a commitment to hospice philosophy
