What You'll Be Doing

As an Accounts Payable Specialist , you'll play a key role in ensuring supplier invoices and payments are processed accurately and on time while providing excellent support to vendors and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Process high-volume accounts payable invoices with accuracy and attention to detail
- Review and validate invoice information, ensuring dates, amounts, purchase orders, and supporting documentation are correct
- Perform 3-way matching between invoices, purchase orders, and receiving records
- Enter and maintain invoice data within SAP and OpenText
- Process supplier payments via check, ACH, and wire transfer
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies
- Communicate with vendors regarding payment statuses and account inquiries
- Respond to questions from buyers, managers, and internal business partners
- Support ongoing process improvements and transaction accuracy initiatives

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, or general accounting
- Experience processing and validating invoices
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Ability to thrive in a high-volume environment processing approximately 500 invoices per week
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities

Preferred Qualifications

- SAP experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
- Experience performing 3-way matching
- Experience working within ERP systems

Work Environment

- Hybrid schedule following training
- Approximately 3 months of onsite training and onboarding
- Tuesday and Wednesday required onsite once hybrid schedule begins
- Collaborative Shared Services Center environment
- Team of approximately 15 accounting professionals supporting AP and AR functions

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Collins, CO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms. If eligible, the benefits
