About this role
Who We Are
Boston Consulting Group partners with leaders in business and society to tackle their most important challenges and capture their greatest opportunities. BCG was the pioneer in business strategy when it was founded in 1963. Today, we help clients with total transformation-inspiring complex change, enabling organizations to grow, building competitive advantage, and driving bottom-line impact.
To succeed, organizations must blend digital and human capabilities. Our diverse, global teams bring deep industry and functional expertise and a range of perspectives to spark change. BCG delivers solutions through leading-edge management consulting along with technology and design, corporate and digital ventures—and business purpose. We work in a uniquely collaborative model across the firm and throughout all levels of the client organization, generating results that allow our clients to thrive.
What You'll Do
You are a versatile creative designer with strong visual design skills, genuine curiosity about emerging technologies, and a passion for bringing clarity to complexity. You move fluidly between visual design and presentation, bringing real craft and human-centred thinking to everything you touch. As a Senior Creative (Hybrid — a multidisciplinary designer) at BCG Design Studios, you sit at the intersection of strategic consulting and creative output. You work with a range of clients, including directly with Australian Government clients and BCG consulting teams, to shape work that is beautiful, clear, and impactful.
Your primary focus is visual design communication: crafting compelling presentations and translating complex government and business content into clear, engaging visual communications that drive understanding and action.
You bring hands-on creative ability in visual design, understand how design principles strengthen consulting recommendations, and know how to flex your approach depending on what a project needs.
You bring storytelling into your visual design practice, finding the narrative thread in complex government and business content. You work with clients and BCG case teams to shape the story, structure the message, and connect evidence with the decisions an audience needs to make. From a presentation to a data-driven report, you combine words, visuals, and information design to make the work clear, compelling, and relevant.
You bring a high level of AI fluency to your creative practice, building and refining AI workflows that connect concept development, visual exploration, and design production. You combine tools, develop reusable approaches, and know how to direct, evaluate, and refine AI outputs to achieve a clear creative intent. You continually improve how the work gets made while maintaining creative quality, accuracy, and the confidentiality and information-security requirements of BCG and Australian Government clients.
You will work directly with Australian Government clients and BCG case teams as a creative partner. You help lead creative conversations with confidence, translate complex briefs into compelling visual work, and contribute to projects end-to-end. You understand the importance of confidentiality and security in government work.
