Description:

Job Description – DCS Hardware Design Engineer

Client: ABB – INOPC
Location: Bengaluru
Experience: 3–8 Years
Industry: Industrial Automation / Process Automation / Oil & Gas

Mandatory Skills (Must Have)

- DCS Hardware Engineering – Hands-on
experience in DCS hardware design and engineering and ABB 800xA.
- AutoCAD – Strong
experience in GA drawings, panel layouts, electrical schematics and wiring
diagrams.
- Cabinet Design – Experience
in control panels, marshalling cabinets and system cabinets.
- EPLAN / Ebase / MicroStation – Hands-on
experience with at least one of these tools.
- Electrical Drawings – Wiring
diagrams, termination drawings, interconnection drawings and power
distribution drawings.
- Project Engineering – I/O
allocation, BOM preparation, cable schedules and power calculations.
- Engineering Documentation – Drawing
modifications, revision management and as-built documentation.

Good to Have

- ABB 800xA DCS knowledge and Control
Builder exposure.
- MS Visio experience.
- Experience in Oil & Gas,
Refinery or Process Automation projects.
- FAT and panel testing experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and modify DCS hardware
engineering drawings using AutoCAD and other CAD tools.
- Design control cabinets, marshalling
panels and electrical layouts.
- Prepare GA drawings, wiring
diagrams, I/O lists, BOM and power calculations.
- Coordinate with engineering teams
and support project deliverables, technical reviews and FAT.

Qualification: Diploma / B.E. /
B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics or Instrumentation Engineering.

Note: Candidates with
strong DCS hardware engineering, AutoCAD and cabinet design experience will be
preferred.
