University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Assistant to join our team in Westland, MI. In this role, you will provide essential support to clients in their homes, helping them maintain independence and improve their quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Provide medication reminders and monitor client health status.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, including meal preparation and cleaning.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in client condition to supervisors.
- Adhere to all safety and confidentiality guidelines.
Requirements
- Previous experience in home care or a related field preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation to and from clients homes.
- Willingness to pass background checks.
