Home Care Attendant

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Attendants to provide exceptional in-home care services for clients in Chelsea, MI. In this role, you will assist clients with daily living activities, promoting their independence and enhancing their quality of life in a supportive and respectful manner.

Responsibilities

- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

- Assist with mobility and transferring to ensure client safety.

- Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed, ensuring dietary restrictions are followed.

- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment.

- Accompany clients to appointments and social activities as required.

- Monitor and report any changes in client health or behavior to supervisors.

- Maintain accurate records of care provided and communicate effectively with clients and family members.

Requirements

- Prior experience in home care or healthcare setting is a plus.

- Ability to pass background checks and necessary screenings.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

- Compassionate, patient, and reliable with strong attention to detail.

- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends if needed.
