Project Manager II

Vistance is recruiting a Project Manager II (SAP & Application Development | Certified Scrum Master) to join our team based in Hyderabad!

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, monitoring and managing the end-to-end delivery of SAP and custom application development projects to meet agreed deliverables, scheduled timeframes, quality standards and allocated budgets. This role also serves as Scrum Master for Agile delivery teams and focuses on meeting project commitments through effective communication with sponsors, business stakeholders, product owners, technical teams and external partners.

How You'll Help Us Connect the World:

- Lead multiple small or medium-sized projects simultaneously, or a large complex project, across SAP and application development portfolios.

- • Lead cross-functional project teams, including SAP functional and technical consultants, developers, architects, business analysts, quality engineers, infrastructure teams and business representatives.

- • Create and maintain integrated project plans covering scope, deliverables, activities, dependencies, timelines, resources, budgets, milestones and acceptance criteria.

- • Manage SAP implementation, rollout, upgrade, enhancement, integration or migration initiatives, including S/4HANA programs where applicable.

- • Coordinate SAP project activities such as requirements confirmation, solution design, configuration, development, data migration, testing, cutover, go-live and hypercare.

- • Lead application development projects across the SDLC, including requirements, design, development, system integration testing, user acceptance testing, release, deployment and post-production support.

- • Act as Scrum Master by facilitating sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews and retrospectives.

- • Partner with Product Owners to maintain a prioritized, clear and delivery-ready backlog; coach teams on Agile principles and continuous improvement.

- • Monitor delivery through agreed Agile and project measures, including sprint progress, velocity trends, release readiness, milestones, budget and resource utilization.

- • Identify and track risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies; assess business and delivery impact; define owners and execute timely mitigation or resolution.

- • Manage scope and change control while maintaining alignment between business requirements, technical solutions and project outcomes.

- • Conduct project status sessions and prepare concise governance updates for sponsors, steering committees and stakeholders.

- • Manage third-party vendors, SAP implementation partners and distributed teams, including deliverables, quality, dependencies and escalations.

- • Ensure appropriate use of Vistance Networks' project management tools, governance, processes, security standards and delivery methodologies.

- • Promote collaboration, accountability, transparency and effective conflict resolution across matrixed and geographically distributed teams.

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

- • Bachelor's degree in business administration, information systems, computer science, engineering or a related field.

- • At least 8 years of overall IT experience, including a minimum of 5 years of project management experience.

- • Demonstrated experience managing SAP projects and custom application development projects from initiation through production deployment.

- • Experience delivering at least one SAP implementation, rollout, upgrade or migration project; S/4HANA experience is strongly preferred.

- • Working knowledge of SAP project phases and experience coordinating functional and technical workstreams across relevant modules such as FICO, MM, SD, PP, EWM, SuccessFactors, Ariba or SAP BTP.

- • Hands-on experience serving as a Scrum Master for one or more Agile software delivery teams.

- • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum, Waterfall and hybrid project delivery methodologies.

- • Experience with project and Agile delivery tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.

- • Proven ability to manage project scope, schedules, resources, budgets, risks, issues, vendors and executive reporting.

- • Experience leading developers, testing teams, SAP consultants and business stakeholders in a matrixed environment.

- • Strong written and verbal communication, estimation, facilitation, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.

- • Ability to manage competing priorities, make timely decisions and influence diverse teams to achieve project goals.

You Will Excite Us If You Have:

- PMP, PRINCE2 or an equivalent professional project management certification.

- • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), SAFe Scrum Master or equivalent Agile certification.

- • SAP Activate certification or practical experience applying the SAP Activate methodology.

- • Demonstrated success leading SAP S/4HANA implementation or ECC-to-S/4HANA transformation projects.

- • Experience managing cloud, API, integration, web or enterprise application development projects.

- • Experience managing project financials, forecasts, vendor statements of work and delivery commitments.

- • Demonstrated conflict-resolution, team-coaching and organizational change-management skills.

- • Experience working with global stakeholders and geographically distributed delivery teams.

- • Knowledge of the manufacturing industry and related business processes.
