At Exyte, we deliver some of the world's most advanced pharmaceutical and biotechnology facilities. As Portfolio Manager – Front End Projects, you will play a key role in securing and delivering these projects.
You will lead the development of complex technical and commercial proposals for the Front End phases of major Life Sciences EPCM projects, coordinating multidisciplinary teams across engineering, project management, estimating, procurement and commercial management. As a key interface to our clients and internal stakeholders, you will drive proposal strategy, quality and competitiveness while ensuring alignment on scope, schedule, risks and commercial objectives.
In addition, you will contribute to portfolio coordination and governance, creating transparency on priorities, resources and key risks to support effective management decision-making. Depending on your experience and interests, you may also lead Front End project start-ups and drive project excellence through the continuous improvement and standardization of project and engineering management methods, tools and best practices.

## Explore your tasks and responsibilities

Proposal Management

- Lead complex technical and commercial proposals for early phases (Front End) of large EPCM Life Sciences projects
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across engineering, project management, estimating, procurement and commercial management
- Develop proposal strategies, schedules and submission plans
- Drive proposal quality, compliance and competitiveness
- Identify and manage risks, opportunities and key assumptions
- Support client presentations, clarification meetings and negotiations
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality proposal submissions
- Drive continuous improvement and lessons learned across proposal activities

Portfolio Coordination & Governance

- Support portfolio planning, reporting and resource coordination activities
- Provide transparency on proposal status, priorities, resource needs and key risks
- Support governance reviews and management decision-making
- Prepare portfolio-related analyses, reports and presentations
- Contribute to the successful coordination of strategic opportunities and major projects

Project Excellence

- Drive and support the effective start-up of Front End projects
- Lead the continuous improvement and implementation of project and engineering management best practices
- Develop and standardize Front End project execution methods, tools, and processes
- Support project teams in project start-up phase
- Promote knowledge sharing and lessons learned across projects and engineering teams

## Show your expertise

- Degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a related discipline
- 5+ years of experience in Life Sciences, EPCM or industrial investment projects
- Strong experience in proposal management within complex project environments
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary and international teams
- Strong commercial understanding and awareness of project cost drivers
- Experience with large CAPEX investment projects
- Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent English and German required
- Strong ownership, leadership and coordination skills
