About this role
The Interface Engineer is responsible for managing and coordinating all technical, operational, and contractual interfaces between different project packages, disciplines, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure the seamless execution of an oil & gas project. This role ensures that design and execution plans are consistent, compatible, and aligned across all interfacing scopes — such as top sides, subsea, pipelines, onshore facilities, utilities, and third-party systems — avoiding gaps, overlaps, and conflicts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Process, or related discipline).
- 8+ years of oil & gas project experience, with at least 3 years in interface management.
- Proven experience in multi-package EPC/PMC projects (offshore platforms, pipelines, onshore processing, utilities).
- Strong knowledge of engineering design processes, construction, commissioning, and project controls.
- Experience in large-scale offshore developments (subsea-to-shore, FPSO, WHP, or LNG projects).
- Familiarity with interface management software/tools (e.g., ICMS, SharePoint, Prodom).
- Offshore survival (BOSIET) and HSE awareness training.
