Medical Assistant

Job Title: Medical Assistant Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team. This role involves providing essential clinical support, managing patient updates, and ensuring smooth operations within a healthcare setting. Responsibilities

- Conduct follow-ups and update patient records through data entry.
- Answer inbound phone calls and manage patient inquiries.
- Order labs and relay lab results to patients and healthcare providers.
- Schedule follow-up appointments efficiently.
- Provide clinical support and assist in patient care.

Essential Skills

- Medical experience as a Medical Assistant (MA) with at least 1 year of experience.
- High School Diploma is required.
- Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, particularly Athena.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and patient care.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to handle front desk operations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

- Medical Assisting diploma or certification is preferred.
- Experience in appointment scheduling, clinical support, and ordering labs.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is advantageous.
- Knowledge of health insurance processes.

The role offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and 401K. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
