About this role
Position is responsible for performing all the duties of the assigned production area plus directing and coordinating activities of others within the area. Position is a hands on part of the team, occupying a direct labor position while assisting in the coordination of work flow, troubleshooting with operators and leading by example. Position coordinates area activities in the absence of the Supervisor.
Education and Experience
• High School diploma, General Education Diploma (GED) or equivalent training & experience, required
• SAP experience, required
• Previous supervisory experience, preferred
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Must have mathematical skills to add, subtract, multiply and divide. Must have the ability to use conversions of fractions and decimals. Must have the ability to work with different units for weight, volume, density, distance, etc.
• Must not be currently on any Final Warning discipline or Performance Improvement Plan.
• Ust be in current position for at least 6 months.
• Proficiency with Microsoft word-processing and spreadsheet applications preferred.
