Are you looking to start a hands-on career in a growing manufacturing company? We are a leading manufacturer of high-quality Pilates equipment, and we’re growing our packing team on both AM and PM shifts. We’re hiring Junior Packers to help make sure every product leaves our facility in perfect condition. This is an entry-level role, and we’ll train you on everything you need to know.
Junior Packer is the first step on our packing career path, with room to grow into roles as you build your skills!
Job Responsibilities:
- Clean and inspect finished products for quality before packaging
- Carefully wrap large, high-end Pilates equipment using bubble wrap and plastic
- Box up products following the specific packing procedures for each item
- Build custom boxes and prepare orders for shipment
- Use drills and staple guns to assemble and secure packaging (training provided)
- Keep your work area clean, safe, and organized
We are looking for someone:
- Reliable, punctual, and someone your team can count on
- Coachable and eager to learn; you follow procedures and ask questions when unsure
- Detail-oriented and take pride in careful, accurate work
- Safety-minded and comfortable using basic power tools
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods
- A team player who communicates well with coworkers
- Previous labor, warehouse, or packing experience is a plus, but not required
- Forklift certification is a plus
Schedule & Pay:
- $17/hour
- Day shift: 6:30AM - 3:00PM
- Evening shift: 2:00PM – 10:30PM (shift differential available)
- Overtime opportunities at x1.5 pay
