Night Janitor (Part-Time, Mon–Sat, 9 PM–1 AM) – Fort Myers

E2E Cleaning Services is hiring a night janitor for a 20,000 sq ft beauty school in Fort Myers. After the students and stylists go home, the building is yours: clean every restroom, sweep up the day's hair from the salon floor and classrooms, polish the stainless, mop the floors on that night's schedule, and lock up. You'll work from a written route card that lays out every step, on the same 4-hour shift six nights a week. If you're independent, detail-minded and want steady evening hours, this job is for you.

What you'll do

- Clean and sanitize every restroom each night: toilets, sinks, mirrors, stalls and counters, then restock soap and paper and mop
- Sweep up all the hair under and around the salon stations, and sweep every classroom and clinic floor
- Mop each area on its scheduled night. Restrooms, the shampoo room and retail are mopped nightly; classrooms, clinics and office floors twice a week on a set rotation
- Wipe and polish every stainless steel trash can until there are no smudges or fingerprints
- Vacuum office carpet, spot-clean office glass and wipe down the classroom kitchenette
- Empty the break room and outside trash
- Walk the building at the end of the night to check your own work, then lock up and secure the building
- Report anything broken, leaking or low on supplies the same night

What we're looking for

- Speaks English. This is required for this position.
- Reliable and on time, six nights a week
- Comfortable working alone at night in a closed building, and trustworthy with keys and lock-up
- An eye for detail: no hair left under a station, no streaks on the stainless
- Careful around school property. Student kits, mannequin heads, tools and retail displays are never moved; you clean around them.
- Able to stand, bend and sweep for a full 4-hour shift, and lift at least 20 lbs
- A smartphone for our scheduling app, team chat and photo reports
- Janitorial, salon or school cleaning experience is a plus but not required. We train you on site.

Schedule

- Monday through Saturday, 9:00 PM to 1:00 AM
- 4 hours a night, 24 hours a week. Sundays off
- The same route every night. Only the mop list changes by night, so every area gets mopped on schedule.

Own a registered cleaning business? We also need an on-call backup for this site, as a subcontractor, to cover the night janitor's days off and vacations. A registered business and general liability insurance are required. We train you on the site, paid, before you cover a shift. Requirements: 18 or older, speaks English, able to pass a background check, and reliable transportation for a shift that ends at 1:00 AM.
