Full-Time Day Porter (Mon–Fri) – Jacksonville

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM. Weekends off

E2E Cleaning Services is hiring a full-time day porter for a busy auto auction facility on Jacksonville's Northside. You'll be the one person who keeps the whole site clean all day: the parking lot and front entrance, the office building, the lobby where dealers register, five restrooms, the break rooms and the auction arena. You'll work from a written daily route, so you always know what comes next. If you want steady weekday hours, like staying busy and are comfortable working on your own, this job is for you.

What you'll do

- Start each day outside: blow off the front parking lot and clear the entrance before anyone arrives
- Vacuum and mop the office building before the staff walk in at 8:00
- Clean all five restrooms every morning, then check and touch them up throughout the day
- Keep the lobby, dealer registration counter, reception areas, offices, conference room and break rooms clean: trash, glass, counters and high-touch spots
- Walk the auction arena every day for trash and spills, and run the auto scrubber on the arena floor once a week (training provided)
- Empty every outside trash can and pick up litter around the lot
- On sale day (Thursday), keep the restrooms and auction area clean while dealers are on site, then reset the building after the sale
- On Friday afternoons, drive a mile down the road to clean a small satellite office
- Keep track of supplies and report leaks, damage or anything broken the same day

What we're looking for

- Reliable and on time. The day starts at 6:30 AM
- Comfortable working on your own and following a daily routine without someone watching over you
- Trustworthy around offices and dealer paperwork. You clean around people's desks without moving their things
- Safety-minded around moving vehicles in the auction arena, and willing to follow the site staff's direction
- On your feet all day, indoors and outdoors in Florida weather, and able to lift at least 20 lbs
- Friendly and professional with office staff and dealers
- A smartphone for our scheduling app, team chat and photo reports
- Day porter, janitorial or floor machine experience is a plus but not required. We train you on site.
- English and Spanish both welcome. Bilingual is a plus, not a requirement.

Schedule

- Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM, with an unpaid lunch from 11:00 to 12:00
- 40 hours a week, every week. Weekends off
- The same route every day, plus a short detail task that changes by day
- Thursday is auction day and moves faster. Friday adds the arena floor scrub and the satellite office.

Independent contractor or own a cleaning business? We also need an on-call backup porter for this site, as a vendor or subcontractor, to cover the full-time porter's days off and vacations. Requirements: 18 or older, able to pass a background check, and reliable transportation to Jacksonville's Northside, including your own vehicle for a short Friday trip (about a mile) to a nearby office.
