The right person is highly organized, comfortable balancing competing priorities across multiple executives, composed under pressure, and genuinely enjoys helping others succeed.
Duties and Responsibilities :

- Serve as a professional point of contact between finance leadership and NAR departments, affiliated entities, auditors, and external partners.
- Serve as a liaison between Treasurer of Finance Committee and Chair of Real Property Operations Committee.
Finance Cycle Coordination
- Maintain a master calendar of key finance deadlines, including budget and forecast cycles, month-end reporting, audits, and board or committee meetings.
- Track deliverables and follow up with stakeholders to keep deadlines on schedule, escalating urgent items as needed.
- Coordinate logistics for audit activities and financial reviews, including scheduling and document requests.
- Prepare agendas and minutes for Finance Committee, Real Property Operations Committee and working group meetings.
- Coordinate all scheduling (date, time, room set up, food and beverage, agenda, minutes) for committee meetings at our two annual conferences.
Team and Project Support
- Coordinate finance team meetings, trainings, and events, including agendas, materials, and follow-up actions.

- Keep the finance team informed of priorities, updates, and key dates.
- Support special projects and finance initiatives as needed.
- Other administrative functions as requested (e.g. review and distribute mail, request Certificates of Insurance, etc).
Qualifications :
- 5+ years of experience as an executive assistant, including direct support of C-level executives.
- Experience supporting multiple senior leaders at once; finance or accounting department experience strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to anticipate needs and solve problems before they escalate, bringing solutions and not just issues.
- Unquestionable discretion with sensitive and confidential financial information.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly with numbers, deadlines, and documents.
- Composure and professionalism in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to represent finance leadership professionally.
