We bring together technologies and industries, alongside the contributions of diverse individuals who are empowered by an intentional workplace culture, to solve problems better and faster.
Key Responsibility
At Quest Global, we work on design, development and technical support of Industrial Gas Turbine components for one of our Energy customers. Quest Global projects include generation of cost reduction ideas, Assessing Mechanical Integrity & implementation in production engines and resolution of technical fault reports in fleet engines.
We are now looking for a Mechanical Integrity- FEA engineer who wants to work with technical matters related to Industrial Gas Turbines components across Compressors, Combustion and Turbine parts.
- Candidate needs to be proficient in FE meshing of complex structure using 1D, 2D, & 3D elements. Needs at least 3-5 years of hands-on experience in creating hexahedral, tetrahedral, and combined mesh with transition in ANSYS and NX CAE. Hypermesh meshing experience will be added advantage.
- Needs to perform model set-up including, meshing, material, boundary condition, load, & constraints in SC03. Perform linear analyses (structural & modal) using SC03. Experience with Thermal, LCF, & HCF analyses in SC03 will be added advantage
- Needs to perform model set-up including but not limited to, material, boundary condition, load, & contact application in ANSYS. Needs to have good understanding and experience in linear & non-linear modeling
- Needs to perform thermal, structural and modal analyses. Experience in transient thermal, harmonic and buckling analyses will be added advantage
- Needs to perform bolted joint assessment with reduced order and 3D modeling approaches.
- Needs to perform fatigue (LCF and HCF) analysis. Work experience in thermo-mechanical fatigue, fracture mechanics and creep analyses will be added advantage.
- Needs to validate the results and document the assessment along with results summary and conclusion.
