TUJ currently serves approximately four thousand undergraduate students, several hundred graduate students, and about two thousand non-degree–seeking students. As part of our efforts to improve operational efficiency, we have been migrating both new and continuing student data and processes into Slate, while redesigning and enhancing these workflows.
The ideal candidates will have hands-on experience developing and maintaining Slate in a university environment, and basic knowledge of SQL, HTML, and CSS, JavaScript as Slate integrates with multiple systems such as Banner and NetSuite. The ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into efficient technical solutions is a plus.
The working language at TUJ is English. Because this role involves close collaboration with academic, administrative, and IT units as well as coordination with Temple University’s main campus, we are seeking an individual with excellent English communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders..
