About this role

About Artha Group Artha Group is a performance-first investment house managing ₹2,300 crores across domestic and international investment vehicles, including Category I & II AIFs, LLPs, and Private Limited companies. With active investments in 130+ startups, with 32+ successful exits, and 10+ renewable energy projects. We operate at the convergence of capital precision and operational depth.
Role Overview Artha Group is seeking an Analyst – Full Stack Engineer to join its internal Tech team as a full-time hire. You will build and ship the web applications, internal tools and workflow automations that the firm’s teams run on, working primarily in Next.js, with clean code and a systems mindset rather than one-off fixes. This is a hands-on engineering role with an analyst’s instinct. You will understand how a process actually works before you automate it, and you will design for the people who use it. Our users come from many different backgrounds, so what you build has to be intuitive, accessible and clear to people with very different levels of technical comfort. You will own what you ship through to adoption and improvement. We welcome engineers at the start of their careers as well as those with a few years of experience. What matters is the quality of what you have built and how you think, not only the number of years behind you.
Key Responsibilities Application Development
- Experience in building Conversational Video/Audio Platforms
- Write clean, readable, well-tested code that other engineers can maintain and extend.
- Own what you build through release, monitoring and ongoing improvement.
User-Centred Design and Adoption
- Design interfaces and flows for audiences from multiple and diverse backgrounds, ensuring tools are intuitive, accessible and usable without training.
- Apply a consumer-grade standard of usability to internal products, so adoption comes from the experience and not from mandates.
- Gather feedback from real users, observe how they actually use what you build, and turn it into prioritised improvements.
Internal Tooling and Workflow Automation
- Build internal tools and automations that replace manual, repetitive and spreadsheet-driven processes across teams.
- Develop pipeline and tracking systems that give teams reliable visibility into their work.
- Integrate internal tools with existing systems and data sources, so information flows without re-entry.
Systems Thinking and Code Quality
- Think in systems: model data, workflows and integrations deliberately, and weigh trade-offs between speed, maintainability and scale.
- Make sound design decisions for tools that must be both robust and easy for non-technical users.
- Refactor and improve existing systems proactively rather than letting technical debt accumulate.
Requirements Analysis and Stakeholder Partnership
- Work directly with internal teams to understand their processes, pain points and goals, and translate them into clear technical solutions.
- Define requirements and success measures before building, and validate outcomes after release.
Documentation and Reliability
- Maintain clear documentation for the systems, tools and workflows you build.
- Handle confidential financial, portfolio and people data with discretion, and build tools with access controls, permissions and data protection designed in from the start.

Required Experience and Skills
- 0 to 4 years of hands-on engineering experience, through professional roles, internships or substantial personal and open-source projects, with a track record of building and shipping real applications.
- Hands-on experience with Next.js and React, with strong fundamentals in JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Strong fundamentals in writing clean, maintainable code, and the ability to think in systems.
- Experience building D2C or consumer-facing products is valued, as we hold our internal tools to the same standard of intuitive, self-explanatory design.
- Ability to translate loosely defined business needs into well-scoped technical solutions.
- Clear written and verbal communication, with the ability to work comfortably with non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in internal tooling, workflow automation or product-adjacent engineering is preferred, as is experience building mobile applications.
- A background in HR tech, ATS platforms or applicant tracking pipelines is a meaningful differentiator, as a part of the roadmap includes the systems that support our hiring, talent and people workflows.
