About the Role Develop and maintain scalable back-end services, APIs, databases, and cloud/on-prem applications that support core business functionality. Collaborate with product, architecture, front-end, and cross-functional teams to deliver secure, reliable, and high-performing solutions.

Job Title: Back end software development engineer
Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, and deploy back-end applications, APIs, and microservices using Java, Python, C#, SQL, and related frameworks. Build and optimize data storage and retrieval solutions using databases such as Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB, or BigQuery. Manage application deployment, monitoring, performance tuning, security hardening, and disaster recovery across cloud or on-prem environments. Follow architecture standards and promote best practices including test-driven development, CI/CD, code quality, and secure handling of user data. Work closely with customers, front-end developers, product owners, designers, and architects to translate requirements into effective technical solutions.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. 4+ years of IT experience with 3+ years in software development, including hands-on expertise in at least one coding language or framework. Strong experience with SQL, Java, and Apache; familiarity with BigQuery is preferred. Practical knowledge of APIs, microservices, databases, cloud/on-prem deployment, security practices, and CI/CD workflows.
