About this role
What You'll Do:
- Own End-to-End Development: Take ownership of features from concept to delivery, collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve complex marketplace challenges.
- Build Full-Stack Solutions: Develop scalable backend APIs and engaging frontend applications that support customer-facing experiences and internal operational tools.
- Enhance Marketplace Operations: Contribute to systems supporting supplier matching, automated auctions, order allocation, production workflows, quality control, and shipment planning.
- Scale Platform Capabilities: Integrate with event-driven systems and develop solutions that support growing order volumes and evolving business needs.
- Ensure Product Quality: Implement effective testing, monitoring, observability, and engineering best practices to deliver reliable software.
- Drive Engineering Excellence: Collaborate with Backend and Frontend Engineering Guilds to establish standards and continuously improve backend systems and frontend development practices.
What It Takes:
- 4+ years of experience building full-stack web applications.
- Strong proficiency in Python, with experience designing, developing, testing, and monitoring production systems.
- Experience working with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.
- Production experience with Angular (or a comparable Single Page Application framework) and TypeScript.
- Experience with frontend testing frameworks.
- Familiarity with reactive state management tools such as RxJS, NgRx, or similar technologies.
- Understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD environments.
- Experience working in Agile teams alongside Product Managers and Designers.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
