As an Associate Merchant - Garden , you'll play a key role in building and executing exciting product assortments, working closely with vendors, managing purchase orders, supporting promotions, and helping bring seasonal garden collections to life. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to develop merchandising expertise while making a direct impact on the customer experience.

Position Duties:
- Support product selection, finished goods sourcing, and vendor management.
- Create, track, and follow up on purchase orders; coordinate order confirmations, delivery schedules, and issue resolution with vendors.
- Manage product setup, maintenance, sample coordination, and lifecycle activities, including markdowns and product exits.
- Assist with pricing strategy, promotional execution, and pricing accuracy across systems.
- Partner with Marketing on promotional campaigns, signage, and timing.
- Collaborate with Visual Merchandising on product placement across store and sales channels.
- Participate in seasonal planning, demand forecasting, and variance review meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, merchandising, or related field preferred
- 3+ years of experience in buying, buying support, retail merchandising, or related analytical/administrative role
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in specialty retail, plant, garden, gift, home décor, or seasonal retail environments preferred
- Experience with NetSuite or similar merchandising/inventory systems preferred
- Interest in pursuing a Category Merchant/Manager career path
- Ability to work in an office and retail store environment
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to work additional hours during peak seasonal periods as needed

Compensation: $20.89+/hour
