Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Release Engineer to own and drive the end-to-end release lifecycle across multiple products and global engineering teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for release planning, build and deployment automation, CI/CD pipeline management, release governance, and cloud deployment strategies while ensuring high-quality and reliable software delivery.
This role requires strong expertise in Release Engineering, CI/CD tools, GitHub Actions, SonarQube, AWS Cloud, Release Management Platforms , and exceptional stakeholder management skills to coordinate releases across geographically distributed teams.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in Release Engineering, DevOps Engineering, Build Engineering, or Release Management.
- Strong hands-on experience with Release Management and CI/CD tools.
- Expertise in GitHub Actions and Git-based development workflows.
- Experience implementing and supporting SonarQube quality-gate processes.
- Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services and deployment models.
- Experience managing enterprise-wide release processes across multiple teams.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
Core Competencies:
- Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Experience with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI/CD, or similar automation platforms.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments.
- Experience with release orchestration platforms and deployment automation tools.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and security scanning tools.
- AWS Certification and/or DevOps Certification preferred.
