Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Release Engineer with 3+ years of experience in Release Management, DevOps, CI/CD automation, and Cloud technologies . The ideal candidate will support and manage software releases, deployment activities, and production operations while ensuring system reliability and availability.

This role requires participation in a 24x7 support model , collaboration with global teams, and ownership of deployment activities across multiple environments. The candidate should possess strong troubleshooting skills, automation experience, and a passion for continuous improvement.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Release Engineering, DevOps, Application Support, or related roles.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI/CD, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of software release and deployment processes.
- Basic to intermediate experience with AWS Cloud services.
- Experience with source control systems such as Git.
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments.
- Experience with scripting (Shell, Python, PowerShell, or similar).
- Understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies.
- Willingness to participate in a 24x7 support/on-call rotation.

Core Competencies:

- Experience with GitHub Actions and deployment automation.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized environments.
- Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Exposure to monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Splunk, Grafana, or Datadog.
- Familiarity with code quality tools such as SonarQube.
