Southern Health Partners (SHP) is seeking a compassionate and dependable Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team at Morgan County Jail in Alabama.
Correctional healthcare offers an opportunity to step outside the traditional hospital environment and provide care to an underserved population. You'll use your nursing expertise to make a difference every shift while working as part of a dedicated healthcare team.

🩺 What You'll Do
- Provide quality nursing care to patients in a correctional healthcare setting.
- Conduct nursing assessments and evaluate patient health needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate interventions.
- Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to the healthcare team.
- Perform sick call assessments and address patient healthcare concerns.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
- Promote a safe, professional, and supportive healthcare environment.
Qualifications
📋 What We're Looking For
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Previous nursing experience preferred.
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a healthcare team.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Dependable, adaptable, and committed to providing quality patient care.
- Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including every other weekend.
