Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

- Design and develop digital integrated circuits as part of our ASIC development team.
- Participate in the complete ASIC development lifecycle, from requirements and architecture through RTL design, verification, implementation and validation.
- Develop high-quality, synthesizable RTL using modern hardware description languages.
- Perform design verification and analysis to ensure functionality, performance and robustness.
- Contribute to design reviews, verification activities and the transition of designs from RTL to realized silicon.
- Work closely with analog ASIC designers, verification engineers, system engineers and other engineering disciplines to develop solutions optimized at the system level.
- Apply structured engineering methods and industry-standard EDA tools throughout the development process.
- Contribute to synthesis, timing analysis, design-for-test and other implementation activities according to experience and area of responsibility.
- Analyze simulation, implementation and measurement results and use these results to improve designs.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and automation of our ASIC design, verification and development workflows.
- Document designs, technical decisions and verification results in accordance with our development and quality processes.
- Collaborate across an international engineering organization and contribute to an open environment for technical discussion, knowledge sharing and innovation.
- Depending on experience, take ownership of larger design activities and provide technical guidance to other engineers.

Required Qualifications

- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Microelectronics, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Academic or professional background in digital design, digital integrated circuits, FPGA/ASIC development or related areas.
- Good understanding of fundamental digital design concepts and synchronous digital systems.
- Experience with or academic exposure to hardware description languages such as SystemVerilog or VHDL .
- Ability to analyze complex technical problems and develop practical engineering solutions.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a geographically distributed engineering team.

Both recent graduates and experienced candidates are encouraged to apply. For recent graduates, relevant coursework, thesis work or project experience in digital design, FPGA or ASIC development is highly relevant. For experienced candidates, we value demonstrated experience developing digital integrated circuits in an industrial or research environment.

Desired Characteristics
