Timber Cutter / Forestry Technician

Key Responsibilities

· Supporting all groundwork operations as directed by the crew leader

· Handling, processing, and managing branches and timber on active work sites

· Assisting with traffic management to ensure a safe working environment for both team members and the public

· Operating machinery and powered equipment safely and effectively

· Competently using a woodchipper and other tools as required

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills

· Safe Pass & Manual Handling (Required)

· Full, clean driving license (Required)

· NPTC Chainsaw certification (Required)

· Polesaw, Chipper & Climbing Certification (any or all preferred)

· Experience as a skilled labourer

· Strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work well within a team

· Commitment to maintaining high safety standards
