University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aide to join our team in Howell, MI. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. You will work closely with clients to assist with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Help with mobility and transfers to ensure client safety.
- Support clients with light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation.
- Monitor and report any changes in clients health or behavior to the supervising nurse or family members.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Follow care plans and maintain accurate records of services provided.
Requirements
- Previous experience in personal care or a similar role is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
- Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel to client homes within Howell, MI.
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
